Now that it's been over a month since the last contest, Xandi (with help from NinjaFro) have created a new contest! Click here for the contest promo, drawn by NinjaFro21!

Here's a quick run-down of the contest:
Contest Start: NOW! (July 11, 2008)
Contest End: Midnight (USA mountain time), September 1st, 2008
Contest Theme: Summer Lovin
Entries Accepted: Drawing or Writing
Rules: As always, must be yaoi. Contest must be summer oriented, whatever that means to you, but try to add a little fun in the sun or beach romance to your entry! (Also scroll to the bottom as there is a mini-contest)

And THIS is the more detailed version:
Since it is SUMMER where YAA creators and admins live, we've decided to issue a Summer themed contest. Xandi, always being a BIG fan of the movie "Grease" has decided to name it the "Summer Lovin" contest!
In this contest, we want you to show the yaoilicious side of summer, whatever summer means to you! Personally, Xandi likes to think of picnics, water, yummy foods, carnivals, and FIREWORKS! You can incorporate anything that would be found on a glorious summer day into your contest entry.
The contest will end September 1st because traditionally, that's when school began again and summer was gone BUT don't dispair, summer will be very much alive in your entries, I'm sure.
So pack a picnic basket, light some fireworks (if you can be trusted with fire), eat some fruit and popsicles to draw inspiration for your writings or drawings (as always, writings must be proofread and pretty error free or Xandi won't let it in!) Hope to see all of you enter the contest!

ENTER by leaving a NOTE titled "Contest Entry" and then provide a link to your entry in the note. Your entry will NOT be submitted to the club, a link will be provided to the original.

Mini-Contest
While the Summer Lovin contest is going on, Xandi's decided to hold a mini-contest. This mini contest is another naming one, and she didn't want to have two naming contests in a row! So, here's your opportunity to name more faces that will become known to YAA!
~hitokiri-chan has been nice enough to create two fangirl cheerleaders for YAA! It is up to our members to name them!

To enter the mini contest, you must send a note titled "MINI-Contest entry" so I can distinguish the difference between contest entries and Mini-contest entries. Inside the note, give two names, one for each of our fine athletes. The mini-contest's end date will be like a pop quiz, and only a week warning will be given for when it ends.

Start crackin on your entries, members! I want to see LOTS of them. Let's make this a HUGE contest!
